Self-pay Members

Self-paying for medical treatment can offer many advantages including discounted fees and access to expert specialists who do not accept low fees paid by insurance providers. Self-pay patients often have access to different availability within many leading facilities each day which allows us maximum flexibility.

Your patient Liaison team will work quickly to source same day priority consultations across all specialisms and provide bespoke quotes and packages for treatments and therapies.

Self-pay members have the benefit of monthly billing statements from LMC meaning they have a payment free experience during their visits to our specialists.

Insured Members

Private medical insurance is the most common way for patients in the UK to access and pay for private treatment. Using their extensive industry expertise, the LMC team provides insured patients with hands-on support and full administrative management.

Our service includes obtaining pre-authorisation, completing insurance paperwork, sharing insurance details with hospitals and specialists, and guiding you through the entire claims process.

As part of onboarding, we request a copy of your benefits summary and policy details to ensure treatments are arranged within your policy guidelines. Once you join our service, it is rare for LMC members with private medical insurance to need direct contact with their provider.

Corporate Members

At LMC, we work closely with Human Resources teams and Benefits officers in corporate companies to assist busy executives and their families in arranging medical appointments. For some corporate families, this includes relocating to the UK from overseas. The UK’s complex medical system can be confusing and overwhelming, and we are often relied upon to ease families' anxiety while they face many other challenges in an unfamiliar environment.

Most of our corporate members use their Private Medical Insurance. Visit our Insured Members page to learn how the LMC team helps insured executives save time on administrative tasks when seeking treatment.

“In the middle of an emergency LMC not only found us the right care incredibly fast, sorted out all the complexities around insurance, negotiated between the NHS and the private doctors, they also provided huge emotional support, understanding and reassurance. I can't rate them highly enough”

“I was diagnosed with ‘idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis’ in May 2017. This is a very aggressive scarring of the lungs with a 2-to-3-year life expectancy. I was put on the transplant list in September 2019. I continued to decline with oxygen at home my only help. The hospital really can do very little pre transplant except wait for an organ to arrive. It reached a point where I needed help as I was no longer able to walk. Trinity hospice had provided an end-of-life package. Then I was put in touch with LMC. They swiftly arranged 24-hour nursing at home. We were no longer able to navigate the ‘system’ (all transplants are strictly NHS). Kirsty at LMC started working behind the scenes, keeping me on the radar and constantly being in touch with my consultants as well as other professors and experts across the country for opinions/advice etc. I had about a week to live when I was called into hospital, put on life support and 24 hours later had a double lung transplant in July 2020. There is extremely strict protocol regarding transplants, and nobody is given ‘special treatment’. I am certain though that without Kirsty’s research and resolve and steering us through the maze I would not be here today. Post-transplant the hospital care is impeccable and I have not required LMC’s assistance apart from a couple of emergency Covid tests! Thank you LMC.”
