One of the values that led to LMC’s establishment is a focus on the mental health of employees and members. We are so pleased that it is something that is becoming much more widely recognised and both society and employers are becoming more supportive.
At its core LMC was founded to support patients through the stress and strain of challenging medical diagnoses, providing them with a caring hand every step of the way.
We are proud to have provided life-changing mental health support for so many of our members and it is always at the forefront of our mission.
The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is kindness.
Kindness can be seen in so many of our actions and has never been more important than now. We ask everyone to continue to be kind to both friends and strangers alike and, most importantly, be kind to ourselves. This is a stressful time for everyone and we could all benefit from a little self-kindness.
If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please do get in touch with us here and we can begin to support you on your journey.
